In the 1980’s I built my studio out of adobe bricks which I bought from a guy who had a package liquor store and adobe yard in Alcalde near Espanola. In the 70’s you saw people making bricks for their own, but by the mid 80’s you rarely saw people make their own bricks and now I don’t see it at all..
